MENA Business Sustainability Senior Associate

Sigma Earth is seeking a MENA Business Sustainability Senior Associate in Dubai to lead environmental sustainability initiatives aligned with EY's vision. Responsibilities include collaborating on regional programs, conducting research on sustainability trends, and developing strategies for integrating sustainability into operations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience. The position is full-time with a salary range of AED 120K–AED 200K.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and contribute to the implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives across the MENA region, ensuring alignment with EY’s broader sustainability vision.
• Collaborate closely with the Ripples team to drive forward region-specific environmental programs that reflect EY’s global sustainability objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, partners, and community stakeholders to support the successful rollout of sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging sustainability trends and global best practices, offering strategic recommendations to enhance EY’s efforts.
• Design and execute strategies that embed sustainability within EY’s core business operations and internal practices.
• Partner with various departments to ensure clear communication and organization-wide adoption of sustainability programs.
• Track and evaluate the progress of sustainability projects, preparing regular updates and reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Represent EY in industry events, workshops, and conferences, staying current on sustainability developments and expanding the firm’s network.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, corporate responsibility, or related fields.
• Proven success in developing and executing sustainability programs.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability trends and frameworks, particularly relevant to the MENA region.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive both independently and within a team in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
