Mechanical Technician | Al-Futtaim Automotive

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Dubai. The role involves performing service and maintenance on customer vehicles, ensuring quality and efficiency, and contributing to workshop revenue. Key responsibilities include conducting repairs, completing job cards, providing cost estimates, and adhering to standard operating procedures. Candidates should have technical experience, preferably in an automotive dealership, and possess an ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering with 1-2 years of experience.
The primary focus of the role will be to carry out dealership service on customer vehicles as per company standards and ensure optimum quality with increased productivity and technical efficiency, thereby individually contributing to generate workshop revenue.What you will do:Perform periodic maintenance service on the customer’s vehicleAddress minor repair jobs on customer’s vehicle without compensating the quality of workAccurately complete all job cards providedProvide cost estimates to customers that requires or request for additional service jobsConduct final inspection as per the SOP (standard operating procedure)Deliver the desired efficiency and productivity as per targets givenEnsure prompt punch in and punch out to get the accurate booking hoursComplete the training course/internal assessment and other on the job training as per the schedule provided by the Training ManagerEnroll and get certification as per the principal’s guidelinesPrepare for annual skills contests Required Skills to be successful:Knowledge about automotive partsTechnical experienceAutomotive dealership experienceWorkshop experienceAbout the Team:Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and will work closely with the workshop team.What equips you for the role:ITI/ Diploma in Automobile Engineering1 to 2 years overall experience as a Technician with an automotive dealershipTechnical skillsBasic computer skillsProficient English
