Job Description
Carbon Clean is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment) in Mumbai, India. Responsibilities include preparing mechanical data sheets, material requisitions, and vendor drawing reviews, along with interdisciplinary coordination. Candidates should have a mechanical engineering degree, knowledge of international standards, and familiarity with rotating and static equipment. The role offers hybrid working, allowing up to 3 days of remote work per week, along with professional development opportunities and a supportive company culture.
Your role will include:
• Preparation of Mechanical data sheet, Equipment Specification etc.
• Preparation of material requisition for enquiry and purchase, technical bid analysis.
• Review of Vendor drawing review to ensure the specifications and standards are complied with.
• Inter discipline co-ordination with Civil / Structural, piping, Electrical and instrumentation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:
• A engineer with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or similar, is preferred
• Familiar with International Codes and Standards, Client Specifications for Rotating equipment.
• Exposure and knowledge of Mechanical seal, Coupling, Bearing, Gearbox, V-belt / pulleys etc.
• Some exposure in dealing with Static equipments such as pressure Vessels, heat exchangers are preferred.
• Exposure to Computer skills such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and any other Software related to Mechanical Engineering would be an added advantage.
