Job Description

Clarios is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Sustainable Transportation in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves designing advanced energy storage systems, utilizing Solid Works for mechanical components, and conducting various analyses. The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced energy storage systems for automotive applications. This includes specifying and designing complex mechanical components and sub-assemblies using Solid Works CAD system, preparing technical drawings of components and assemblies, and conducting FEA and CFD analysis, validation testing, and result interpretation in areas such as vibration durability, mechanical shock, crashworthiness, and general structural engineering.

What We Look For:
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in plastic part design and knowledge of injection molding processes. You should also have applied Solid Modeling (CAD) experience for at least 2 years and proficiency in MS Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word. Additionally, experience with DFMEA and DVP&R is required. Preferred qualifications include a general understanding of electrical and thermal engineering, Solid Works experience, and general manufacturing knowledge.
