Mechanical Commissioning Technician

Powertech is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Technician in Bridgetown, WA, for an 8-10 month contract. The role requires a qualified fitter/mechanical tradesperson with at least 4 years of commissioning experience. The position involves pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, with a roster of 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Candidates must be located in Western Australia and can expect a pay rate of $83.00/hr plus superannuation.

Powertech Resourcing is a multidisciplinary commissioning organisation providing services to the energy and resources sectors throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth and expansion in the business, we are currently taking applications for Mechanical Commissioning Technicians to join our clients team in Bridgetown - South West of Western Australia.
• Duration: 8-10 months
• Roster/Hours: 2 weeks on : 1 week off | 12 hours per day | Thursday to Wednesday
• Location: South West of Perth (3hrs)
• Rate: $83.00/hr + super
• Superannuation paid on all hours

Must be able to start back end of April 2025

Drive in 1st day, start work on arrival | Drive home 14th day (Full 12 hour day paid each way)

Must be located in Western Australia

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Performing pre-commissioning activities
• Performing commissioning Test Procedure activities
• Completion of as-builts as required
• Raise Permitry associated PC and CTP activities
• Interface with inter discipline activities associated with PC and CTP activities
• Completion of PC and CTP documentation
• Punch list clearances
• Preservation and maintenance of equipment.

Experience, skills and qualifications:
• Qualified Fitter/Mechanical tradesperson
• Minimum 4 years Commissioning experience
• Construction White card
• CPR/LVR (Desirable)
• First Aid (Desirable)
