The Role:
The Master Electrician for Commercial Solar will lead and manage the electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial solar systems. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical systems, solar technology, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale solar projects, ensuring all installations meet code, and supervising electrical crews.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the electrical installation and wiring of commercial solar energy systems, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and electrical components.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on solar systems.
• Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices.
• Conduct electrical inspections and testing of solar systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
• Supervise and mentor electrical apprentices, journeymen, and other team members.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and system specifications for project installations.
• Manage inventory and order materials required for electrical work on solar projects.
• Stay updated on new technologies, codes, and industry trends related to solar and electrical systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
• Valid Master Electrician license (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician, with a focus on commercial solar installations.
• In-depth knowledge of solar power systems, electrical codes, and safety regulations (NEC, OSHA).
• Proven experience managing electrical teams and large-scale projects.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Proficiency with electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions as required for solar installations.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and sustainable practices is a plus.
