DIALOG is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for Sustainable Urban Planning in St. Albert, AB. The role involves supporting business development through market analysis, proposal writing, and client database management. Candidates should have a degree in relevant fields and 1-3 years of experience, preferably in a design firm. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and strong communication skills are required. This is a full-time position and not remote.
About the Job
We are looking for a business development coordinator to assist Edmonton's Marketing and Business Development Leader in driving lead generation. This is a great opportunity to join our team and contribute to our mission of using design as a force for good in the world.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Conducting market analysis and identifying new business development opportunities.
• Collaborating with team members to design and produce proposals and qualifications packages.
• Writing non-technical portions of the proposal (cover letters, executive summaries, project descriptions, team qualifications, project wins).
• Supporting the creation and implementation of pipeline strategies and tracking systems.
• Creating and maintaining client databases and mail lists.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in graphic design, communications, business/marketing, English, or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related experience; design firm experience preferred.
• Experience in Adobe InDesign. Other Adobe Creative Suite products is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
• Exhibits critical thinking and makes informed decisions.
• You thrive in a collaborative, positive environment where teamwork, creativity, and fun drive success.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Strong networking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
