Job Description
Ultra Clean Technology is hiring a Manufacturing Production Technician in Singapore. Responsibilities include cleaning, packing, and maintaining parts, participating in quality assurance and safety programs, and performing inspections. The position requires cleanroom and chemical handling experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts. A high school diploma is required, and the salary ranges from SGD 20K to SGD 60K annually.
Position: Technician I
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• This position performs basic cleaning, packing, and maintenance activities. This may include initial wiping of parts with various solvents (such as IPA), preparing sample kits, basic scrubbing and detailing of parts with abrasive pads, cleanroom packaging, boxing of parts for shipment, and general area maintenance and housekeeping duties. Updates spreadsheets to capture data.
• Participation in the Quality Assurance program, safety program, and completion of various training. Must be able to identify the occurrence of departures from the quality system.
• Specialized duties may include correctly masking parts in preparation for bead-blasting activities.
• Safe use and disposition of hazardous chemicals for cleaning.
• Able to work at chemical wet bench area and perform manual polishing of AL, SST, and ceramic parts.
• Perform in-process inspection for all customer parts and ensure parts are in good condition during the cleaning process.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in the workstation and support ad-hoc tasks when requested.
• Perform good 6S housekeeping condition in the workstation and ensure good safety practices are followed.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating/permanent shifts with long hours standing and can lift around 20kg parts.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
• High School diploma and Institute of Technical Education (ITE)
