About the RoleTrinity Consultants is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead complex air quality projects while mentoring high-performing teams and driving client success. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a consulting environment-balancing technical expertise, project execution, and business development.You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality regulatory solutions, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of our environmental consulting practice.What You'll DoProject & Technical LeadershipLead and manage air quality permitting and compliance projects for industrial clientsPrepare and review:Air permit applications & regulatory analysesEmissions inventories and fee calculationsDispersion modeling analysesEvaluate regulatory risk and recommend control technologies and compliance strategiesConduct compliance audits and provide strategic environmental guidanceTeam Leadership & DevelopmentManage and mentor a team of consultants and technical staffProvide clear direction, technical oversight, and career development supportEnsure team members are properly trained and equipped to deliver high-quality workConduct performance reviews and set measurable development goalsProject Execution & OperationsOversee project budgets, invoicing, and financial performanceEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standardsPerform QA/QC in alignment with ISO 9001 standardsAllocate resources effectively across multiple projects and prioritiesClient & Business DevelopmentServe as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining and expanding relationshipsIdentify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and new business developmentLead proposal development and support strategic pursuitsRepresent Trinity through strong written and verbal communicationWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or related environmental science field4+ years of experience in air quality consulting or a related fieldStrong knowledge of:Air quality regulations and permittingEmissions calculations and control technologiesAir dispersion modelingProven experience managing projects, budgets, and client relationshipsDemonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring or managing teamsStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical toolsWhy Trinity Consultants?Work with a market leader in environmental consulting with over 50 years of impactBe part of a collaborative, growth-focused culture where your voice and leadership matterOpportunity to lead diverse, high-visibility projects across industriesClear path for career advancement and leadership growthCompetitive compensation, benefits, and performance-driven rewardsLeadership ScopeManage 1-4 direct reports, with potential oversight of broader project teamsInfluence team performance, project delivery, and client outcomes across your region
