LVI Associates is seeking a Renewable Electrical Engineering Manager in Arden Hills, MN, to lead a team of 6-7 engineers on PV, BESS, Microgrid, and EV projects. The role involves overseeing engineering design, conducting power system studies, and mentoring staff. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on renewable energy, and a PE license. Salary is $130K–150K annually.
A leader in power and renewable engineering services is looking to bring on a Renewable Electrical Engineering Manager! They are looking for an experienced engineer to lead and mentor a team of 6-7 junior engineers and support technical requirements of PV, BESS, Microgrid, and EV projects. This role is based in St. Paul, MN or Madison, WI. Responsibilities:Embody the companies core values while leading design and engineering efforts across solar PV, energy storage, microgrids, and EV infrastructure projects.Apply strong working knowledge of relay programming, solar PV modeling tools (PVSYST, Helioscope), and power system software (e.g., PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, SKM, CYME, ASPEN, AutoCAD).Conduct and support a wide range of power system studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, grounding, harmonic analysis, and more.Oversee engineering design and execution, drive innovation in service offerings, and contribute to the development of standards and tools for distributed energy resources.Lead and mentor a high-performing team, design career development plans, and leverage a robust industry network to support business growth and regulatory alignment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power Systems focus required; Master's degree is a plus.7+ years in electrical engineering, including 5+ years in renewable energy; experience in commercial & industrial projects is beneficial.PE license (or ability to obtain within a year) required; NABCEP certification is a plus or must be willing to pursue.Apply today!
