Manager of Environmental Compliance

NCW is seeking a Manager of Environmental Compliance in Hanna, IN. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing quality systems, and overseeing safety and environmental programs. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years of experience in the chemical industry. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential. This is a full-time position.
As the Manager of Environmental Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations meet all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies while fostering a culture of sustainability and continuous improvement. We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in Quality and Environmental management who has successfully implemented and maintained Quality and Environmental, Health, Safety, Security (QEHSS) programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain the company's quality system, including document control and responding to customer inquiries regarding Certificate of Analysis/Conformance (COA/COC).
• Ensure compliance with facility safety policies and relevant regulations (such as EPA, OSHA, NACD, NSF, NAFTA, TSCA, NMFC).
• Conduct statistical analyses of data to develop Statistical Process Controls (SPC) and Certified Process Capabilities (CPK) information.
• Lead or participate in site-specific Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Management Program (RMP), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), Pre-start safety reviews (PSSR), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Oversee the operation of industrial wastewater treatment systems, ensuring procedures and equipment limits are reviewed and risk assessed.
• Ensure Environmental Regulatory Compliance, including management of Air Permits, RCRA waste disposal, TRI, FIFRA Reporting, Tier 2, and EPA Federal and State Pesticide reporting.
• Develop and conduct an audit program related to FIFRA compliance, including labeling, packaging, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Quality Control, or Environmental Science.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the chemical industry.
• Proficient in computer systems, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, and comfortable working with large databases.
• 1-2 years of experience in a management role, including direct supervision of at least one team member.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail, able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to handle confidential information responsibly.
