Job Description
The Queensland Government is seeking a Manager for Energy Investment Emissions Reduction in Brisbane, responsible for leading emission reduction and renewable energy programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing investments, analyzing energy data, and project management. The role involves supporting sustainable transport options, particularly electric vehicles, and requires strong interpersonal skills. What you'll do
You will be responsible for:
Leading the management, coordination and delivery of emission reduction and renewable energy programs relating to electricity and other energy sources (including natural gas and LPG).
Developing and leading processes to promote investment and track and report implementation and outcomes of emission reduction and renewable energy projects.
Supporting the ongoing rollout of sustainable transport options, principally electric vehicles.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated experience in leading the management, coordination and delivery of emissions reduction investments and renewable energy programs (or similar) across a large, complex, and geographically dispersed network.
High level ability in the analysis of data trends and patterns relating to energy and water usage as well as travel options that would reduce carbon emissions in order to determine performance progress, cost savings and future investment opportunities.
Demonstrated experience and capabilities in program and project management relating to energy efficiency initiatives to identify emerging risks to the successful delivery of the program and ensure program budget are managed effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and the demonstrated ability to drive high performing teams.
