Manager

Green Initiative is seeking a Manager in Abu Dhabi to oversee the electrical distribution system. Responsibilities include ensuring proper power distribution, coordinating remodeling projects, consulting on electrical systems, and managing construction and installation. The role requires knowledge of fire protection codes, strong leadership, and communication skills. Experience in the healthcare industry and managerial roles is preferred. This is a full-time position with no degree requirement.
Job Summary

This position is responsible for directing the effective utilization of the total electrical distribution system.

Primary Duties and responsibilities
• Ensures that available power is properly distributed to all areas
• Coordinates utilization of electrical power requirements for remodeling projects
• Serves as a consultant regarding electrical systems
• Repairs plans, equipment specifications and cost estimates for alterations and major improvements
• Analyzes electrical problems and recommends appropriate changes
• Coordinates the construction and installation of electrical systems
• Determines specifications and approves modifications to original blueprints
• Ensures that contractors adhere to all fire protection and electrical equipment and codes

Skills
• Knowledge of national fire protection codes, blueprints and electrical tools and practices
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to speak and write in English is required
• Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
• Health care industry experience is preferred
• Managerial and/or supervisory experience is preferred
