Maintenance Technician - Wind Energy

Sky Climber is seeking a full-time Wind Turbine Technician in Goodland, KS. Responsibilities include servicing and maintaining wind turbines at Cheyenne Ridge Wind Farm. No experience is necessary, and training is provided. The role offers a competitive wage ($22-24/hour), benefits including health coverage and a 401(k), and opportunities for advancement. Sky Climber Renewables in Colorado (CO) is actively seeking skilled full-time, local Technicians to climb, service and maintain a fleet of wind turbines at the Cheyenne Ridge Wind Farm located in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. Local wind technicians work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and earn a competitive starting wage of $22-24.00/hour. In addition to this base rate, technicians will be immediately eligible for a skill-related $2/hr pay increase after completion of specific training modules.

Wind Technicians can expect 15–25% overtime, paid at time and a half, meaning employees will receive at least one and a half times their regular hourly rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.

Furthermore, most local Technicians advance to the Technician II rate, which starts at $27.45/hour, in under 1 year.

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and within 60 miles of job location
• Ability to pass drug screen, physical and background check
