Job Description
Gotion is seeking a Logistics Specialist for its facility in Manteno, IL. The role involves coordinating logistics operations, managing inventory, and collaborating with teams to improve efficiency. Candidates should have a degree in Logistics or related fields, 2-4 years of relevant experience, and preferably be bilingual in Mandarin and English. This full-time position offers a salary range of $65k-$100k, plus bonuses and benefits.

What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, material handling, and warehousing activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies aimed at cost reduction, improved efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock control, reduce carrying costs, and maintain material availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production and material flow throughout the plant.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics partners to negotiate rates, manage contracts, and resolve any logistical challenges.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will also be considered).
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) is preferred due to international communication.
• 2-4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, including transportation, inventory management, and warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems (experience with SAP is a plus).
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $65k –$100k, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
