Job Description:
- To provide technical assistance and support to a geographic area of the MOH to include Zonal Health Desks, Woreda Health Offices, Pharmacy/Commodity Management Departments at various levels, and health facilities
- Actively collaborate with RHBs, Zones, other DELIVER staff, and Ministry partners in improving LMIS data for the resupply and forecasting of contraceptives, RH/family planning advocacy and resource mobilization, strengthening Commodity Security at the Regional level, and monitoring and evaluation of RH/FP indicators
- Support capacity-building in logistics management information systems (LMIS), physical capacity and inventory management for MOH health facilities stores, revenue generation, and advocacy for various implementation activities of the Pharmaceutical Logistics Master Plan.
- Support RHBs, Zones, Woredas, and health facilities in the collection and use of Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS) data for resupply, stores management, and forecasting decisions
- Be involved in all activities related to the USAID / DELIVER PROJECT’s three core objectives: providing technical assistance to the PLMP, improving contraceptive/commodity security in Ministry of Health facilities, and supporting data for decision making through the Ethiopian Contraceptive Logistics System (ECLS)
