Job Description
Cast UK Limited seeks a proactive Logistics Coordinator in Essex, UK, to oversee logistics operations in a warehouse. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams for order fulfillment, managing third-party logistics, planning deliveries, resolving complaints, and monitoring performance metrics. Candidates should have logistics experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This is a full-time position offering a salary of £26K–£32K annually.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor/Manager to lead our logistics operations in a fast-moving warehouse environment. This role will involve close collaboration with the Operations, Warehouse, Customer Success, Sales, and Trade teams to ensure a seamless order fulfillment process and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaboration with Teams: Work alongside the Customer Success, Sales, and Trade teams to facilitate smooth coordination of customer orders and ensure all requirements are met.
• Third-Party Logistics Management: Oversee and coordinate logistics operations with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring they meet service level agreements and quality standards.
• Delivery Planning: Plan and schedule delivery time slots, ensuring that customer expectations are met while optimizing resources and routes for efficiency.
• Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve any complaints or issues related to logistics operations, including those pertaining to delivery delays, order inaccuracies, and customer satisfaction.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor logistics performance metrics and prepare reports to analyze efficiency; identify areas for improvement in delivery processes and customer service.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate logistics processes, making recommendations for enhancements to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, or transportation, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Excellent understanding of third-party logistics operations and return management processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with customers and vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with inventory management systems and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to transportation and warehousing.
