Job Description
Greenkey Resources LLC is seeking a Logistics Associate in New York, NY. Responsibilities include adhering to SOPs, managing shipments, tracking packages, performing inventory checks, and ensuring accurate shipping documentation. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in computer programs like Excel and D365, and knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes. This is a full-time position with no degree required.
Key Responsibilities
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Organize the department efficiently.
• Ensure the security of company property.
• Handle both incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform tasks related to outbound processes.
• Safely transport packages.
• Track shipments and packages for monitoring purposes.
• Manage reverse logistics tasks.
• Assist with cycle counts and comprehensive inventory checks.
• Follow up on special sales orders with committed delivery dates.
• Ensure the accuracy of all paperwork and shipping documentation.
• Participate in D365 system testing updates.
• Oversee the Ferrari hand-off process at the end of the day.
• Pack and manage all parcel-related tasks in D365.
• Understand procedures for both domestic and international outbound shipments using specific shipping carriers.
• Coordinate with the import/export department to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure accurate and timely closure of all shipping manifests by the end of each day.
• Monitor and maintain the availability of supplies.
• Control and monitor accounts based on pre-assigned calendar schedules.
• Follow 5S protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform engraving tasks as required.
• Approve invoices on a bimonthly basis.
Knowledge Requirements
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant computer programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, and D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Understanding and adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Knowledge of and adherence to established SOPs to ensure consistent and efficient workflows.
