Pearce is seeking a Local Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician II, with a commitment to excellence, strong desire to succeed and learn new skills utilizing established procedures, with the highest regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician II, you will carry out daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor service, and/or repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment and facilities. This position is 75% local and 25% travel. Must live within 90 miles of Springfield, IL.
Responsibilities
• Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)

• Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements.

• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment.
,
• Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
,
• Use of various torque and tension tools.
,
• Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision.
Requirements
• Two years of experience in wind maintenance required.

• GWO Certified (preferred).
,
• Supervising experience of 1 year in a related field.
