Construction Lead – Lighting Upgrade Project

📍 Location: Bronx, NY | 🏗️ Field-Based Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Construction Lead to oversee and actively contribute to a major facility-wide lighting upgrade project!

This is a field-focused leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in the thick of construction activity while leading day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do:

🔹 Perform 1-for-1 light fixture replacements throughout the facility

🔹 Develop and manage daily construction sequencing and schedules

🔹 Act as the primary on-site liaison for facility staff, contractors, and project leaders

🔹 Coordinate safely around active asbestos abatement zones

🔹 Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety protocols

🔹 Keep thorough documentation and escalate site issues proactively

🔹 Promote a clean, organized, and efficient job site

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ 4–8 years of electrical construction experience (especially lighting upgrades)

✔️ Skilled in working safely around asbestos abatement areas

✔️ Proven ability to manage workload and lead site operations independently

✔️ Strong communicator with a focus on stakeholder coordination

✔️ Deep knowledge of electrical codes, tools, and safe work practices

✔️ Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, etc.)

Bonus Points For:

🌟 Experience with CUNY or DASNY projects

🌟 Subcontractor management experience

🌟 OSHA 10/30 Certification (with abatement safety practices)

🌟 Facility retrofit or energy-efficiency project background

🌟 Leadership roles on active construction sites (Foreman or similar)
