Licensed Electrician Virginia- Solar and Battery Systems

NCW is hiring a Licensed Electrician in Harrisonburg, VA, to install and maintain electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including solar and battery storage. Candidates must have a valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician License and 5+ years of experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and retirement plans. The position requires in-person work and offers per diem, with opportunities for long-term employment.
NCW is seeking experienced Licensed Virginia State Electricians that will be tasked to installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for renewable energy projects, may include solar and battery storage. In addition to working with inverters, wiring, solar panels, and other electrical components, installing and maintaining Battery Energy Storage Systems(BESS) as well as troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions while ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards (NEC).

Reciprocating licenses from Alabama, Kentucky, Maryland, West Virginia and North Carolina will be considered, however the VA Journeyman License must be in hand prior to the required start date.

Per diem is available for this position.

Requirements

· Journey level experience 5+ or more years

· Must have valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician License

· Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is highly preferred.
