Job Description
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for project financing and renewable energy business during various stages of development and execution.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements related to the energy industry.
• Advise internal teams on legal matters and risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct due diligence, legal structuring, and closing for business transactions.
• Support dispute resolution and handle legal claims as required.
• Stay updated on legal developments impacting the renewable energy sector.
• Advise on local laws and regulations related to the sector
• Drafting and Vetting of agreements such as EPC, O&M, and, PPA

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:
• A degree in law (LLB or equivalent).
• Proven experience in project financing and/or M&A and PE Transactions.
• Comfortable handling a wide variety of commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of and experience working in the Renewable Energy Sector would be a huge plus.
• Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and reviewing skills.
