Other Conditions: For placement in lecturer pool for future semesters. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teach assigned courses in the discipline.
• Prepare course syllabus and reports related to teaching and student progress.
• Maintain a minimum of 1 office hour per week for each course taught.
• Work under the supervision of department and division chairpersons in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Geography, Planning, Environmental Studies, or closely related discipline.
• Ability to teach the assigned course(s).
• Teaching or work experience in Geography, Planning, or Environmental Studies or Science.

Desirable Qualifications:
• Doctoral degree in Geography or closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching Geography, Planning, and/or Environmental Science courses.
