Lead/Asbestos Project Monitor

CORE Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking Lead/Asbestos Project Monitors in New York, NY. Responsibilities include monitoring asbestos and lead abatement projects. Candidates should have a BS in Environmental Science or Industrial Hygiene, relevant certifications, and at least 2 years of industrial hygiene experience. The position requires travel to job sites in NYC's five boroughs. Available as full-time or part-time with pay ranging from $26.00 to $31.00 per hour.
NYC based environmental consulting firm has an immediate need for Asbestos Project Monitors and SSPC certified lead inspectors responsible for performing surveys, project monitoring, and construction monitoring of environmental and building system abatement projects relating to asbestos, lead paint and other hazardous materials. Ideal candidate must possess a BS in Environmental Degree or Industrial Hygiene, NYSDOL Project Monitor, Inspector, or NYC investigators licenses. Should have at least 2 years industrial hygiene experience in the consulting or direct client sector and should have specific experience with building systems and/or construction is preferred. Candidate must be able to travel to job sites in all five boroughs.
