We are looking for an experienced software developer to join the DESIM team at the D. E. Shaw India office based in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram. D. E. Shaw Investment Management (DESIM), founded in 2005, focuses on developing active equity and multi-asset class investment strategies by identifying market inefficiencies and constructing optimal portfolios. Collaborating with our New York teams, the DESIM India team plays a crucial role in the development of software and quantitative tools for portfolio strategy, trading, quant research, and portfolio management. The performance and quality of these tools are crucial to the firm's business strategy. At DESIM, our development team collaborates closely with portfolio managers, traders, quants, and portfolio strategists to support and drive business objectives through innovative software solutions.
