Lead Residential Electrician -- Solar

Solar Energy World is seeking a Lead Residential Electrician for in-person work in Alexandria, VA. We are looking for lead electricians to join our crews.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Install electrical equipment for the residential service upgrade
• Assist in job safety and the overall managing of the install crew
• Diagram layouts and locations for photovoltaic (PV) arrays and equipment, including existing building or site features.
• Identify installation locations with proper orientation, area, solar access, or structural integrity for photovoltaic (PV) arrays.
• Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential solar PV systems.
• Be responsible for ensuring systems meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical Code, and relevant local codes.
• Work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners.
• Provide regular updates of job status, complete necessary paperwork, and photos.
• Assist in job safety and overall crew support.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 2-5 years residential electrical experience a must.
• Work safely on roofs for an extended period of time and in all weather
• Safely ascend and descend ladders.
• Must have a high level of professionalism
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must have a clean valid driver license
• Pass a pre-employment criminal background check, driving record check and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
