IEA Management Services is seeking a Lead Project Executive for Battery Energy Storage & Renewables. This remote role involves managing utility-scale projects across the U.S., fostering a culture of safety and excellence, and collaborating with energy clients. Responsibilities include overseeing project management teams, enhancing client relations, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least five years of construction management experience.
Overview: Are you an experienced leader eager to contribute to a sustainable future? We are seeking a Construction Project Executive to drive multiple utility-scale battery energy storage projects across the U.S. In this role, you will manage complex construction initiatives and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and innovation.

As a vital leader in our expanding renewables division, you will collaborate with energy clients nationwide to deliver impactful storage solutions that bolster grid resilience and promote decarbonization. Your ability to lead concurrent projects, nurture talent, and achieve results will be crucial in shaping the future of clean energy infrastructure.

Location & Travel: This position is remote, based anywhere in the U.S., with regular travel to project sites (up to 50%). You will be eligible for a vehicle allowance and a company credit card to cover business-related travel costs.

Responsibilities:
• Promote and adhere to all Company safety policies and procedures
• Oversee multiple projects and maintain primary contracts with Owners
• Enhance Client Relations to secure repeat business
• Collaborate with Procurement on subcontractor and supplier awards
• Manage project takeoff and bid assembly
• Ensure bids meet compliance with requirements
• Finalizing designs with project Owners
• Partner with Field Operations on staffing needs
• Manage change orders and Owner requests
• Identify and resolve contract disputes
• Collaborate on jobsite safety issues
• Resolve conflicts involving subcontractor performance and material arrivals
• Review projects for completion criteria and acceptance
• Conduct jobsite visits, maintaining active site coverage
• Oversee project management teams, ensuring they meet project goals

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of five years in construction management, with knowledge of techniques and estimating
• Preferable experience managing Battery Energy Storage or other renewables projects

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Commitment to health and safety standards; work towards Zero Injury principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Procore, and relevant construction software
• Ability to interpret technical documents, contracts, and regulations
• Strong writing and presentation skills for reports and correspondence
• Effective problem-solving in varied situations
