Job Description

L.L.Bean is seeking a Lead Packaging Specialist in Freeport, ME, responsible for developing and overseeing packaging strategies that align with the brand. Develop packaging strategies that align with the company's brand and customer needs.
Oversee the packaging process from concept to completion, ensuring product packaging meets quality standards and timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product information and design packaging that effectively communicates product features and benefits.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in packaging technology to continuously improve packaging designs.
Manage and maintain inventory of packaging materials and supplies.
Train and supervise packaging team members, providing guidance and support to ensure packaging standards are met.
Conduct quality control checks on packaging materials and finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Troubleshoot packaging issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor and track packaging costs, making recommendations for cost-saving measures when possible.
Maintain a clean and organized packaging area, following safety protocols and procedures.
Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials.
Assist with other packaging-related tasks as needed.
