Our client, a renowned architectural firm based in Boise, Idaho, US , is seeking a visionary Lead Architectural Designer to spearhead innovative projects in sustainable urban development. This is an on-site position within our vibrant Boise, Idaho, US studio, offering the opportunity to shape the future of cityscapes with environmentally conscious designs. The successful candidate will lead design teams from conceptualization through construction documentation, ensuring the highest standards of aesthetic quality, functionality, and sustainability. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing detailed architectural drawings and specifications, and coordinating with engineers, consultants, and contractors. You will play a key role in client presentations, translating complex design ideas into compelling visual narratives. A strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of sustainable design principles, including LEED certification and net-zero energy strategies, is essential. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all phases of architectural practice, with a focus on large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills are vital for guiding design teams and fostering collaborative client relationships. A Master's degree in Architecture and a professional license (e.g., RA) are strongly preferred.
