Our client, a visionary architectural firm renowned for its innovative and sustainable urban projects, is seeking a Lead Architectural Designer to spearhead impactful design initiatives. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute your design leadership to transformative projects from your home office. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing groundbreaking architectural designs, leading project teams from schematic design through to construction documentation, and ensuring adherence to sustainability principles and client objectives. Your role will involve close collaboration with urban planners, engineers, and developers to create cohesive and inspiring built environments.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and be a licensed Architect (RA) in at least one US state. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on large-scale urban development and sustainable design practices, is required. Demonstrated expertise in leading design teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and producing high-quality design documentation is essential. Proficiency with advanced architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering programs (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion) is mandatory. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful urban design projects with a commitment to sustainability is required. Experience with LEED or other green building certification systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are crucial for effectively conveying design concepts and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
