Our client, a forward-thinking architectural firm, is seeking an exceptionally talented Lead Architectural Designer to join their fully remote team. You will lead design conceptualization, development, and documentation for a diverse range of projects, ensuring aesthetic excellence, functional efficiency, and environmental responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in sustainable architecture, green building technologies, and a deep understanding of current design trends. This remote position requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design process from concept development through project completion. Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client requirements and project goals. Create high-quality design documentation, including conceptual sketches, renderings, 3D models, and construction drawings. Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design integrity and alignment. Champion the integration of sustainable design principles and green building technologies (e.g., LEED, BREEAM). Conduct design reviews and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior architects and designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment. Stay abreast of the latest architectural trends, materials, technologies, and building codes. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards. Manage project timelines and design deliverables effectively. Qualifications: Master's degree in Architecture or a related field. Registered Architect (RA) license is required. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on sustainable and innovative projects. Demonstrated portfolio of high-quality built work showcasing design leadership and sustainable principles. Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite. Expertise in sustainable design strategies and green building certifications (e.g., LEED AP). Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods. Excellent conceptualization, visualization, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration. Proven leadership abilities and experience mentoring design teams. A passion for creating environmentally responsible and aesthetically compelling spaces. This is a remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US, while contributing to groundbreaking projects.
