Goodwin Recruiting seeks a Landscape Project Manager in Massachusetts to oversee the transformation of underutilized land into sustainable green spaces. In this high-impact role, you will manage multiple projects at a time—from base plans and permitting through construction and community build days—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification. You will play a key role in transforming underutilized land into thriving green spaces that support long-term sustainability and community engagement.
Project Manager Key ResponsibilitiesOversee contractors and infrastructure installation (water, irrigation, solar).Manage permits, zoning compliance, and project documentation.Translate design intent into buildable plans and field execution.Track budgets, schedules, and safety protocols.Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, suppliers, and community stakeholders.Support public engagement throughout the construction process.Project Manager Qualifications5+ years of experience in landscape construction, design/architecture, and/or park development (degree preferred).Proven ability to manage complex projects from design through completion.Strong knowledge of construction documents, permitting, and field coordination.Must be able to read and interpret site plansExperience with CAD and Adobe Creative Suite (GIS a plus).Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.Valid driver’s license required.Passion for sustainable design, urban agriculture, and community collaboration is essential.Project Manager BenefitsAnnual PTO up to 40 days in addition to paid parental leaveHealth and Dental Insurance with strong company contributionBase salary up to $96,500, depending on experienceAnnual professional development stipendIRA w/3% Match contributionsMonthly cell phone stipendPartner with amazing people with a passion for helping others
