Landscape Designer

Green Space Design and Development

· Plan and design green spaces, including parks, urban forests, and recreational areas, while prioritizing ecological balance and aesthetic value.

· Ensure designs promote accessibility, functionality, and public well-being.

· Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, and environmental experts for integrated solutions.
Environmental Sustainability and Biodiversity

· Develop strategies to conserve natural habitats, increase native plant diversity, and support urban biodiversity.

· Implement sustainable practices, such as rainwater harvesting, renewable energy sources, and pollution reduction measures.

· Monitor and assess ecological impacts of green spaces on local flora and fauna.
Community Engagement and Education

· Organize community outreach programs to encourage public engagement in green space initiatives.

· Conduct workshops and informational sessions on the benefits of green spaces and sustainability.

· Collect feedback from community members to adapt plans and promote long-term stewardship.
Policy Compliance and Regulatory Oversight

· Ensure all green space projects comply with environmental regulations, urban planning laws, and zoning restrictions.

· Work closely with government agencies to meet environmental standards and obtain necessary permits.
Project Management and Resource Allocation

· Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource management to ensure efficient project completion.

· Coordinate with vendors and contractors to maintain timelines and quality standards.

· Track progress and report on project milestones to stakeholders.
Data Collection and Analysis

· Conduct regular environmental assessments and surveys to collect data on green space usage, plant health, and biodiversity levels.

· Use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other tools to analyze data and inform planning decisions.

· Track and report on the environmental impact of green spaces to support adaptive management.
Innovation and Sustainability Initiatives

· Introduce new techniques or technologies for sustainable urban landscaping, waste reduction, and resource optimization.

· Research and implement best practices in sustainable design and environmental conservation.
• Graduate of Bachelor of Landscape Architect or related field
• Knowledgeable in using CAD, SKETCH UP, PHOTOSHOP, LUMION, MS OFFICE, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP and ILLUSTRATOR IS A PLUS
• Has knowledge in design and planning, detailed drawings, landscape materials and technology construction.
• Has good communication and presentation skills
• Must be a team player and proactive
• Has good people and time management
