JOB SUMMARY We are in search of a creative and detail-oriented Entry-Level Landscape Architect to become a valuable member of our dynamic team. The perfect candidate will exhibit a strong passion for sustainable design, possess a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate the ability to transform outdoor spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and fellow architects to design and develop landscapes for a diverse array of projects, encompassing residential, commercial, and public spaces. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in developing innovative landscape designs that meet client requirements and project objectives. Create detailed plans, drawings, and specifications using appropriate software. Conduct site analysis to assess environmental conditions of existing vegetations, and prepare reports and recommendations based on findings. Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into all design and planning processes. Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning laws and building codes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate landscape designs with overall project plans. Participate in community meetings and presentations to gather public input and provide information on proposed projects. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design process. Participate in design reviews and project meetings. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field. Experience: 1-5 years of Landscape Architecture experience. Licensure: Eligibility to obtain Professional Landscape Architect (PLA). Skills: Understanding of horticulture, grading, drainage, and construction materials. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.). Ability to develop creative and innovative design solutions. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
