Job Description
The Planner facilitates project progress by submitting planning and permitting applications, providing regular updates and reports to clients and/or project managers, and liaising with municipalities and private or government agencies. Key responsibilities include supporting planning, permitting, and land acquisition activities at various administrative levels, maintaining strong relationships with clients and permitting authorities, and developing and updating planning and permitting application deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree and/or Postgraduate education in Urban Planning or a related discipline. A specialization and/or certification in GIS is considered an asset. Additionally, 3+ years' experience as a planner in a related field, familiarity with transmission, renewable energy, or telecommunications projects, right-of-way, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
