Land Erosion Control Technician Supervisor (Land Erosion Experience Required)

WORKERS.COM is seeking a Land Erosion Control Technician Supervisor in New York. Candidates should have erosion control experience and managerial skills, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Responsibilities include supervising a crew, maintaining properties, and using landscaping equipment. This full-time position involves varied morning shifts and working at multiple locations in the Bay Area. Salary ranges from $26 to $30 per hour.
We have an immediate opening for a skilled Erosion Control Technician Supervisor. Candidates must have background knowledge of erosion control and have some background in managerial/supervisor skills. Experience with concrete work is a plus. This is a full, time temp to hire opportunity for candidates who work hard and are reliable. This role requires that candidates are bilingual Spanish and English.

Responsibilities:

Erosion Control Technicians will be in charge of keeping new building and home development properties clean from debris, weeds and other growth while projects are on hold. Work will require candidates to use hand tools, shovels and other equipment to dig trenches, lay down wattle, tarps and other dust control materials. The use of weed whackers, mowers and other landscaping equipment will be required. Lead a crew of workers while assisting in all daily work loads. This is a working supervisory role and require you to do all the same work that the other land erosion control technicians will be required to do. Candidates with hauling equipment experience is a huge plus. Hauling of equipment to job sites will be required at times. Clean driving record is required.

Schedule:

This is a Monday - Friday schedule morning shift where start times can vary depending on projects locations and other working factors. Work will be held in multiple locations, but a large majority of work will be held in the Brentwood, Byron, Mountain House, Tracy, Stockton, Manteca and Bay Area at times. Work is normally 6 - 8 hours a day.

Salary:

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour.
