Laboratory Technician

Kelly is hiring a Lab Technician for a 12-month contract in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, including QAQC, and proficiency in Agilent GC, TOC Analysis, and Spectrophotometer Analysis. Candidates should have strong problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills, along with a Chemical Technology Diploma. A valid class 5 driver's license is also required.

Contract Length: 12 months

Job description:

Skills:
• Experience with Agilent GC, TOC Analysis, and Spectrophotometer Analysis, and troubleshooting lab equipment assets
• Problem solving skills
• Organizational, time management and self-directed skills required
• Demonstrated instrumentation trouble shooting abilities required
• Ability to work in a team environment and good people skills
• Able to be on call once he/she is fully trained

Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• 1 or more years of QAQC experience is preferred.
• Experience in maintenance of documentation for audits
• Excellent time management, interpersonal, documentation and organizational skills
• Proficient in software such as LIMS, M.S. Office, Share point.
• High EH&S standards
• Team-oriented and self-motivated in a dynamic environment
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Qualifications/Education: Chemical Technology Diploma (SAIT/NAIT)
