What’s a typical day as a Measurement Sciences – Fast Lab Associate at PepsiCo Associate at PepsiCo?

·Conduct sample preparation and data acquisition for moisture analyses by following approved procedures.

·Perform TGM, HX, and titrator checkup and maintenance to ensure instruments are in good working condition.

·Execute salt analyses on sample submittals, perform color analyses and complete water activity analyses, as applicable.

·Follow Chain of Custody protocol; receive and log sample into LabVantage LIMS for analysis and traceability

·Cross training with Core team members as needed on executing various R&D projects

·Partner with sample preparation team as needed.

·Partner with product development to drive key business objects in conformance with FDA approved methodology for projects.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• BS/MS degree in Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry, or related discipline with 1+ years’ experience in a laboratory.
• Analytical food chemistry experience required.
• Experiences with NMR, HX, TGM, salt titrator, water activity, and color instrument strongly desired.
• Experience working effectively as a member and contributor on cross functional teams.
• Familiar with Laboratory Information Management Systems and documentation tools.
