MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking a Lab Technician for an 8-month contract in Moncks Corner, SC, working Tuesday to Friday from 7 PM to 5 AM. The role involves sampling, testing, and reporting on raw materials and compounds, adhering to GLP/GMP regulations. Candidates should have at least a year of lab experience and an AS or BS degree in a scientific discipline. Strong communication and time management skills are required.

Job Description
• Responsible for the efficient and effective performance of sampling, testing, and reporting test data results for incoming raw materials, chemicals, and in-process batches of compounds in strict conformance with Inspection Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures and GLP/GMP Regulations.

Responsibilities And Duties
• Responsibilities include sampling, inspection, testing, analysis of results, determining final disposition and detecting nonconforming conditions supporting the compounding and manufacturing of latex rubber medical devices
• Cleans lab supplies and glassware
• Creates label files from templates
• Assists with the removal and disposal of waste chemicals
• Creates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications
• Demonstrates the ability to follow complex, detailed instructions.
• Must follow all client housekeeping policies and procedures
• Must follow all client safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to work second shift
• Perform other laboratory related duties as required
• Must understand and adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Must understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Must understand and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Experience:
• 1-year laboratory experience, AS degree in a scientific discipline. o BS degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology.

Basic Skills
• Must be a team player and possess strong communication skills
• Must have a good attention to detail and integrity to work unsupervised.
• Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task is required
• Must be proficient in English, Mathematics and Scientific Methods
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications is required

Preferred Skills
• Wet Chemistry, Viscometers, pH Meters, Titrations
• FTIR, GC, Weights & Measures
• FLAA, Atomic Absorption, Atomic Emission Spectroscopy
