Lab Tech

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a Lab Tech for a community hospital in Payette, ID. The role involves performing lab tests, analyzing results, and managing specimens in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience. There is a wonderful opportunity for a Lab Tech to join a team of healthcare professionals in a small town in Idaho. This is a 19+ bed acute care facility with Lab services, Diagnostic imaging, Cardiopulmonary, and Labor and Delivery.

The Lab Tech will report directly up to the Laboratory Director, while working alongside multiple other Tech staff members and being trained by the Laboratory Manager. Previous experience up to at least 6 months is preferred to be considered for this opening. This is a fast faced Laboratory with multiple specialities. These specialities include blood draws, urinalysis, etc, and take highly specialized training. The facility is dedicated to high quality services to each and every patient and their needs. Care plans for complex disease, and education to patients is promised. You can count on this Lab for friendly, accurate, and prompt testing results making every visit as easy as possible.

Responsibilities of the Lab Tech may include:
• Ability to perform all lab tests
• Analyse every test result while making each procedure prompt, and comfortable
• Knowledge of equipment to locate micro-organisms, monitor tests, match blood for transfusions, etc.
• Matching patient records information
• Collecting, labeling, and delivering specimens
• Setting up and operating all Laboratory essentials
