Job Description

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever is hiring a Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist I or II for their Amite City, LA location. The role involves coordinating wildlife habitat conservation programs and providing technical assistance in USDA Service Centers across several Louisiana parishes. The position requires collaboration with NGOs and government agencies to implement conservation measures under the U.S. Federal Farm Bill. Salary ranges from $38K to $49K annually for a full-time schedule.

Start Date: July 7, 2025 Overview: As an employee of Quail Forever, in partnership with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Working Lands For Wildlife (WLFW), the Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist (FBB) will coordinate and implement wildlife habitat-related conservation programs and provide technical assistance in designated USDA Service Centers. The assigned location for this position is the Amite City USDA Service Center, serving the Louisiana Parishes of Weist Feliciana, East Feliciana, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, Washinton, and St. Tammany.
