Junior Sustainability Specialist

Attero is seeking a Junior Sustainability Specialist in Malappuram, Kerala, to support the integration of sustainable practices within the organization. The role involves implementing sustainability strategies, conducting environmental assessments, and collaborating with teams to enhance sustainability efforts. Candidates should have a relevant degree, 1-2 years of experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. This is a full-time position that requires on-site presence.
As an Associate – Sustainability Specialist, you will support Attero in integrating sustainable practices across its operations and initiatives. Your role will focus on assisting in the implementation of sustainability strategies, monitoring environmental performance, and promoting awareness within the organization. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help identify opportunities for improvement, ensure compliance with sustainability standards, and contribute to the company’s efforts in reducing its environmental impact.

Key Responsibilitie
sAssist in developing and executing sustainability initiatives that align with organizational objectives
.Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement in resource usage and waste management
.Support teams across departments in adopting sustainable practices in daily operations
.Collect, analyze, and report data on energy consumption, water usage, waste generation, and carbon emissions
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions in energy efficiency, waste reduction, and supply chain practices
.Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in sustainability technologies
.Support employee training sessions and workshops on sustainability practices and standards
.Prepare detailed reports on sustainability progress and initiatives for internal and external stakeholders
.Engage with external partners, such as suppliers and community organizations, to support sustainability collaborations
.Contribute to developing sustainability metrics and monitoring organizational progress against key performance indicators (KPIs)
