Junior Solar Installation Technician

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking a Junior Solar Installation Technician for their Clean Tech Accelerator™ program in Aurora, CO. This four-week, in-person training program provides skills for careers in clean tech, with job placement assistance upon completion. Participants must attend all training sessions and meet various requirements, including being 18 or older and legally able to work in the U.S. Pay ranges from $13 to $15 per hour.
Goodwill of Colorado is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing career pathways and life-skills training for over 105,000 individuals each year. Our mission is to empower military veterans, seniors, youth, and those facing barriers to employment through our thrift stores, donations, and community partnerships. The Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator™ program is offered through Goodwill Colorado.

Position Summary

The Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator™ program is a comprehensive intensive program offered at no cost to teach all the skills necessary to be ready to launch a career in the clean tech field. It is 4 weeks long, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. GCTA is a certificate program endorsed by GRID Alternatives and Lowes! Upon completion, we then offer placement assistance for clean tech job opportunities including Junior Solar Installation Technician, Electrical Technician, Renewable Energy Tech, Facilities Maintenance and even Customer Management for clean energy tech. GCTA™ partners with clean electric and energy businesses in the Denver/Aurora area who help to provide this program to the unemployed, underemployed and underserved members of the Community.
