Junior Sector Expert (Energy, Water, Economy, etc.)

NTU International A/S is hiring a Junior Sector Expert (Energy, Water, Economy) for a project in Lesotho. The role involves providing technical support, conducting research, and contributing to reports. Candidates should have 3-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in development cooperation or EU-funded projects. The position is part-time and based in Nairobi, Kenya, with mobilization for project implementation expected to start in January 2027.
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Cooperation Facility to Support the Implementation and Programming of EU Action and Team Europe Initiatives in Lesotho.”

In this context, NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (48 months, expected start January 2027). Mobilisation will be subject to specific Terms of Reference and approval by the EU Delegation to the Lesotho.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support within the relevant sector.Assist with research, data collection, sector analyses and project monitoring.Contribute to technical reports and stakeholder consultations.


Required Experience

3–7 years of relevant sector experience.
