NorthWind Land Resources Inc. is seeking a Junior Reclamation/Remediation Specialist in Edmonton, AB. Candidates should have 0-5 years of experience in Environmental Site Assessment and relevant qualifications. The role involves preparing technical reports, soil and water sampling, and conducting site investigations. QUALIFICATIONS:
• 0-5 years’ experience in Phase 1, 2 and 3 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and reporting
• Degree or Diploma in Environmental, Natural or Soil Sciences or Technical Diploma in Environmental discipline
• Working knowledge of Alberta Environment Criteria and Guidelines
• Understanding of Phase 1, 2 and 3 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA)
• Experience with soil classification and description
• Experience with Wetland Assessment is considered an asset
• Experience in Upstream Oil and Gas remediation and reclamation is an asset
• Experience with weed control considered an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Available to travel throughout Alberta
• Valid Alberta drivers license
• Professional status or eligibility for professional status with APEGA, AIA, or ASPB

JOB DUTIES:
• Preparation of technical reports including borehole logs, data tables and figures
• Soil and water sampling
• Environmental monitoring of subsurface conditions
• Conducting site investigations and remediation programs such as drilling and excavation projects
• Field work throughout Alberta though there may be some exclusively office-based positions available depending on the workload
