Junior Energy Engineer - Full-Time

Position Summary

Join our dynamic team as a motivated Junior Energy Engineer and play a crucial role in advancing energy efficiency, sustainability, and process optimization initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in energy analysis, system optimization, and project implementation across industrial and commercial facilities.

We are looking for enthusiastic early-career engineers with a solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, or energy systems engineering, who share a passion for driving sustainability and efficiency forward.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate and analyze energy usage within facilities and processes.
• Identify opportunities for improvement based on energy systems data analysis.
• Support energy audits, load studies, and benchmarking initiatives.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of energy efficiency projects.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and management.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation of findings.
• Help ensure compliance with energy regulations, sustainability goals, and environmental standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focusing on energy savings and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience (including internships or co-op experience).
• Familiarity with energy systems, HVAC, renewable energy, or industrial processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)
• Experience with energy modeling or simulation software (e.g., RETScreen, HOMER, EnergyPlus).
• Knowledge of LEED, ASHRAE, or other energy standards.
• Internship experience in energy management or sustainability projects.
