Role
We seek a member to join our Energy team to provide consultancy services focused on decarbonisation, energy transition, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. You will support a team known for handling global projects, offering consulting, advisory, design, and planning services to major clients in Spain and internationally.
Our projects vary from conducting techno-economic studies to reduce greenhouse emissions and energy consumption in airports to digitally modeling how architectural elements influence interior comfort.
The career paths at Arup are diverse, with opportunities to work closely with our Climate and Sustainability teams on energy modeling, commissioning, and construction physics.
The team is expanding, and we seek a candidate to help deliver projects aligned with sustainability goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Minimum requirements
• Studies in Industrial, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in English (C1 level)
• Experience with energy modeling software for buildings
• Interest in building energy efficiency and sustainability
• Proficiency in MS Office
Assessable requirements
• Master's in Sustainability
• International academic or work experience
• Knowledge of building facilities, especially mechanical services and air conditioning
• Experience with building sustainability certifications (BREEAM, LEED), carbon footprint assessments, energy audits, climate change evaluations, net-zero transitions, etc., would be advantageous.
