Job Description

As a Junior Ecologist, you will have the opportunity to work with our Ecology & Biodiversity team across New South Wales and Australia. You will assist senior ecologists in providing advice to clients, participate in field survey programs, and support interpretation and application of environmental legislation.

You will also have the chance to prepare tenders and proposals, develop budgets and resourcing plans, and contribute to studies, analyses, interpretations, conclusions, and decisions. Your reports will outline the findings of these studies, including biodiversity assessment reports.

We are looking for a candidate with an appropriate tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Science, or a related field. You will need to have a working knowledge of NSW flora and fauna, scientific or consulting report writing and computer skills, and experience in ecological roles in the environmental consulting sector.
