Rodan Energy Solutions Inc. is hiring a Job Auditor Quality in Mississauga, ON. The role involves ensuring compliance and quality in Advanced Metering Infrastructure projects, conducting inspections, developing audit plans, and collaborating with project teams. Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering or related fields, experience in auditing, and knowledge of electrical systems. Ongoing training opportunities are provided, with a competitive salary range of $30 - $50 per hour.

In this Field Auditor role, you’ll make a meaningful impact by ensuring the quality and compliance of Rodan’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects, directly contributing to a smarter and more sustainable energy future.

With the autonomy to develop audit plans and conduct independent inspections, your recommendations will shape project outcomes and drive operational excellence.


Conduct thorough inspections of electrical meter installations performed by unionized installers to assess compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards. Develop and implement audit plans to evaluate installation quality and adherence to safety protocols. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, compliance gaps, and recommendations for improvement.


Collaborate with project managers, installers, and other stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions. Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and best practices related to electrical installations and metering technologies. Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance auditing skills and knowledge of compliance requirements.


Bachelor’s degree/college degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in auditing, quality assurance, or related roles within the electrical or construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and safety regulations.


Proficiency in developing audit plans, conducting inspections, and preparing clear, concise reports. Relevant certifications such as Journeyperson 309A, Journeyperson Meter Technician, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Energy Auditor etc. Knowledge of and experience with computer software such as Microsoft Office and meter specific software.


First
Aid and CPR certificates and knowledge of EUSA and the OHSA are assets.


Hourly Range: $30 - $50 Competitive salary and bonus
