Job Description

Supervise work activities of janitorial personnel in multiple commercial and industrial establishments in the Green, Uniontown, North Canton, Canton, Alliance areas. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding janitorial services and take corrective action. Train new employees on proper methods and procedures. Make sure accounts are stocked with supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, and recommend corrective action. Cover open sections in accounts due to call offs and absences. This is a Part-Time position working approximately 4-6 hours per evening Monday-Friday after 5pm with rotating weekends (You Must be available to work every other weekend-SATURDAY & SUNDAY) to be considered for this position.

Other Duties:

1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services.

2) Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.

3) Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.

4) Records personnel data on specified forms.

5) Recommends personnel actions, such as hires and discharges, to ensure proper staffing.

6) Confers with staff to resolve production and personnel problems.

7) Assists with start ups of new accounts and fills in for openings and call-offs at accounts

4. Must have few to zero moving violations and a valid drivers license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance

5. Previous supervisory experience required
